The Ronneby airshow saw as expected a lot of Swedish stuff among some small numbers of foreign participants. |

The Museo del Aviazone is located near Rimini halfway between the road between Rimini and San Marino. It has some interesting planes in its collection like an U.S. Navy A-7 (the only in Europe) and a Russian SU-17. |

A small visit to Aviano airbase prudced some nice shots. Activity was moderate with local F-16 activity and some U.S. transports and tankers coming along. Highlight was the Italian 707. |

Just a small trip to one of the main F-16 bases in Holland, Volkel AB. Some F-16 activity and 2 different AWACS birds made a fine day out. |

The Technikmuseum in Speyer has among classic cars and other wonders of twentieth century technology also a large collection aircraft. Some are not painted in ther original operational colourschemes but are creatively enhanced with varying results ;-) |

In 2004 the Italian Air Force (AMI) officially said goodbye to their trusted workhorse the F-104 Starfighter. Last of the Century fighters, zipper, flying pencil, rocket with wings, etc etc. GVR Aviation was there to witness this memorable event and see, listen and feel this mighty plane for the last time. |
