A visit in late November to RAF Shawbury and RAF Cosford proved to be an interesting expdition. Photography wise not the best circumstances, but lots of stored and instructional RAF airframes were seen including a large number of Jaguars which were once the backbone of RAF Germany and flew from RAF Bruggen and RAF Laarbruch. A blast from the past so to speak.. |

Converging to the Brno Air Fest which took place the 10th and 11th of September 2005 a trip towards Slovakia and the Czech Republic was undertaken. A lot of interesting museums and the Brno airshow were the result. |

02-09-2005 | Luftwaffe Museum Gatow, Berlin, Germany The Luftwaffe museum at the old British airfield of Gatow has a big collection of post-WW2 Luftwaffe airframes. |

Poland was visited in the summer of 2005 on a very wrecks & relics oriented trip but also the airshow at Radom was visited. A lot of MiG's, Lim's and Mi's were seen and photohraphed during this trip. |

20-07-2005 | Kleine Brogel COMAO Spotters Day The 2005 edition of the Kleine Brogel spotters day saw again a diversie selection of aircraft under perfect conditions. |

18-07-2005 | RIAT 2008 Fairford departure day Next to the two full show days being held at Fairford as part of the Royal International Air Tattoo there's also a departure day at Monday which sees most participants leave for the respective homebase. |

During the ELITE 2005 several Turkish Phantoms were stationed at Neuburg AB in Bavaria Germany. Among the Turks, the resident F-4's flew also several sorties. Phantoms galore! One of the best photo oppurtunities ever experienced! |

Every two years (with the exception of 2007) an excellent airshow is organized at Zeltweg AB in Austria. The 2005 edition saw the last performance of the Austrian Draken which combined with the great alpine backdrop created some excellent photo opportunities. |

19-06-2005 | Danish International Airshow Karup In 2005 Karup AB was the scene of the Danish international airshow. The weather was big spoiler especially during the morning. Unfortunately a small collection of images of this show. |

08-06-2005 | Mini spotters day Kleine Brogel AB Kleine Brogel organised two spotters days in 2005. This mini- spotters day was smaller, but saw the participation of a Czech contignent with one of the last operational MiG-21's in Czech service as well as an overshoot by the last operational Jaguars in French service. Quality above quantity! |
